Dirt Dog Payton Pierce Lands Midget Ride with Bryan Clauson Racing for POWRi Battle at the Center this Weekend!

DuQuoin, IL | Dec. 2, 2013 - After six years of racing throughout Texas and the Midwest in various types of cars, Payton Pierce is excited about his greatest opportunity to date. The young superstar will be piloting the 39P of Bryan Clauson Racing this weekend in one of the biggest Midget races in the country.

The relationship will kick off this Saturday night as Pierce and Clauson enter the 4th annual POWRi Battle at the Center in DuQuin, Illinois. Clauson (who won the event in 2011) has an enormous amount of success and knowledge that will help Pierce develop his talent. With a national championship caliber car and one of the best coaches in the business, Pierce looks to step from the shadows into the national spotlight Saturday night.

The Du Quoin POWRi event will be taped and broadcast nationally on MAVTV at a later date. Details will be announced here when available. Dirt Dog TV will be providing behind the scenes coverage from the pits this Saturday.

Pierce has enjoyed success in several types of open wheels from Outlaw Karts and Micros to Midgets and Sprint Cars and is excited to take this next step. Pierce is looking forward to learning all he can in order to follow in Bryan's footsteps and become a champion.
