Terry McCarl Scores $4,000 Monster Energy™ Sprint Car Victory at 34 Raceway!

Burlington, IA | September 24, 2011 – Terry McCarl led from green to checker to claim the Monster Energy ™ Sprint Car Series stop at the 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa on Saturday night. The win was McCarl’s second of the year with the series, having won in May at the Jacksonville Speedway.

Rossburg, OH | Sept. 24, 2011 - California standout Kyle Larson completed a feat only performed once before by a dirt track legend, Jack Hewitt, by winning the ALL THREE USAC National Racing Series in one night at the 1/2 Mile Eldora Speedway. He completed the sweep in the Traxxas Silver Crown Series, the Amsoil National Sprint Car Series and the Mopar National Midget Series.

Wheatland, MO | Sept. 24, 2011 – Tim Crawley had designs of sweeping the weekend’s Jesse Hockett / Daniel McMillin Memorial at Lucas Oil Speedway, but Eunice, Louisiana’s Jason Johnson had other ideas as he denied Crawley the top step on the podium in Saturday night’s 30-lap Lucas Oil ASCS presented by K&N Filters main event at the “Diamond of Dirt Tracks”. “The Ragin’ Cajun” gunned into the lead at the outset and then held off some fierce challenges from Crawley in the closing rounds in the fast-paced, non-stop affair to secure the $6,000 triumph aboard the Don Ott-powered Haynes/Mesilla Valley Transport/Pope Properties No. 41 Maxim.

Wheatland, MO | Sept. 23, 2011 – Tim Crawley of Benton, AR, has taken an apparent liking to Lucas Oil Speedway as he broke into Lucas Oil ASCS presented by K&N Filters National victory lane for the first time this season in Friday night’s 25-lap Jesse Hockett / Daniel McMillin Memorial preliminary feature event. Crawley battled past race-long leader Jack Dover on the 19th circuit and then held off a fast-closing Brian Brown to become the 13th different series winner of the year aboard Mike Ward’s Lucas Oil/Boater Sports No. 88 GF1 after also winning last year at the “Diamond of Dirt Tracks”.

Kankakee, IL | Sept. 24, 2011 - Odell, Illinois' #69 Jim Farris started third and tried the low line for the first few laps, then switched up top and rocketed around the two lead cars in turns 3 & 4 to take the lead and the victory in the UMP Modifieds at Kankakee County Speedway last night. #21A Nick Allen took 2nd and the 2011 track championship and #130 Chad Osterhoff finished 3rd.

Abbottstown, PA | Sept. 24, 2011 - Four-time track champ Brian Montieth used a page out of the Fred Rahmer playbook to score his fifth Lincoln win of the year in the 40-lap Kenny Weld/Hilly Rife Memorial at Lincoln Speedway Saturday night. The driver known as “the Edge” started third, slid under new one-lap track record holder Rahmer for second on a seventh-lap restart, and then slid under polesitter and race-long leader Stevie Smith in turns three and four following an 11th-lap restart.
