Kristan Honors Fallen Filskov With IRA Sprint Win at Plymouth

Plymouth, WI | Sept. 17, 2011 - An emotional Brian Kristan claimed the biggest win in his racing career by winning the 15th annual Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series sanctioned Frank Filskov Memorial Fall Classic at Sheboygan County Fair Parks' Plymouth Dirt Track. Kristan's father Joe competed against the late Filskov for several years, and Brian himself was at Hartford Speedway on the fateful day back in October of 1996 when Filskov lost his life. "I was at Hartford back when Frankie lost his life. He was driving a blue & white Weiland Racing Enterprises sponsored car, so it's really cool that I can bring a blue and white Weiland Racing Enterprises car to victory lane tonight."

Medaryville, IN | Sept. 17, 2011 - In another great race, #48X Kurt Allison took the final feature of the UMP Modified season at Shadyhill Speedway last Saturday with the #21A of Nick Allen right on his heels. Allen had already won the points championship in dominant fashion. #7 Brad DeYoung used the high side to finally get around #31 Tom Bell and take third in the closing laps.

Hartford, MI | Sept. 21, 2011 - With support from car owner Kasey Kahne, Saldana climbed back into the #9 Red Bull Maxim for the first time in nine weeks, since suffering a shattered right forearm, a punctured lung and broken ribs in scary crash during the Kings Royal in July at Eldora Speedway. He never looked back. Saldana earned the pole position at the half-mile dirt oval and dominated the 25-lap feature for his fifth victory of the season and the most uplifting win of his career.

Gas City, IN | Sept. 16, 2011 - We're not sure where Big Craig Walker has been hiding all season as he has only competed in six out of the thirteen Street Stock Features at Gas City Speedway this year. But Walker has won five of the six features he has entered, won the last five weeks in a row, sits eleventh in points and has more wins than any of the 29 other racers in the Street Stock Division at Gas City. Way to Go Craig!!!
