Williamsburg, OH | Sept. 16, 2011 - Mike Meyers lead early before “The Boss” Barry Doss made a quick pass and never looked back. Meyers, Tom Sheets, Chad Stapleton and Roger Ruark diced through lapped traffic but could not catch Doss.

Larson Fends Off Loyet for POWRi Midget Win at Spoon River



Canton, IL | Sept. 17, 2011 - Kyle Larson fended off several attacks from Brad Loyet to take his second feature victory of the season in the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series at Spoon River Raceway last Saturday night. Larson led all 30 laps in the Tom Knowles Memorial on the fast, high-banked 3/8th-mile track, but Loyet ran less than a foot behind him for most it.

The 21-year-old made the most of his latest start, racing into the lead on the 28th of 30 laps to win Saturday night's Eagle Nationals atop the 1/3-mile Eagle Raceway clay oval in front of a vocal home-track crowd. Dover pocketed $6,000 for his fifth career ASCS National triumph and first of this year...

Ventura, CA | Sept. 17, 2011 - The third, USAC vs VRA "Battle at the Beach" Midget race went to Johnathon Henry over a field of 18 top midget drivers. He passed early race leader Markus Niemela on lap 10 and led the rest of the way to take the $2,000 winners purse.

Hartford, MI | Sept. 21, 2011 - "I was ready.", Joey Saldana made a statement as he returned to the seat of his #9 Red Bull Maxim and won the Outlaws stop at Hartford Speedway. Many people told him it was too soon. His family and friends cautioned him against it. Joey Saldana, though, knew Wednesday night at Hartford Motor Speedway he was ready to return to World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series action.
