After 31 years of calling the action in the Pacific NW, Fred Rannard Jr has decided to move on. Fred served for 15 years as the Skagit Speedway announcer and the last 16 years as announcer of the traveling 360 Sprint series originally called the Northern Sprint Tour, then NSCS and now the ASCS Northwest Series. Shaun brings us a great 25 minute interview where Fred talks about his decision and recaps this year's ASCS NW season.

Bradford, VT | Sept. 24, 2011- Champion stock car driver Adam Pierson put an exclamation point on his 2011 season by winning the second annual New England Dirt Track Championships presented by The Home Depot, Lake Sunapee Bank, Miller Auto Group, and Gary’s Tire & Auto at Bear Ridge Speedway on Saturday night in front of a packed house. Pierson capped his title-winning season in the Bond Auto Parts DIRTcar Sportsman Modified division by winning the 50-lap season finale and pocketing the $1,000 winner’s purse.

Greenwood, NB | Sept 24, 2011 - John Anderson jumped to the lead from the outside pole to score the win in the final night of the Cornhusker Classic at I-80 Speedway. The Lucas Oil MLRA series regular also took over the point lead in the process. “We just needed to put the package together,” Anderson said of his late season turnaround. “Me and Vinny are gelling real good. The boss (team owner Greg Junghans) wasn’t here tonight. We’ll be glad to call him and let him know how this went.”
