Brazier Bashes Track Record - "Wins" Sprint Feature Before Rain at Collie
video by Mr Speedway 88
Collie, Western Australia | Nov. 5, 2011 - Nestled in the beautiful forests of Southwestern Australia, Collie Speedway is one of the rare dirt tracks to boast a "Smoke Free" environment. Six time Aussie National Sprintcar Champ, Garry Brazier had the hot hand last weekend breaking the track record in qualifying with a lap of 13.92sec...
360 Sprintcar driver David Priolo took heat 1 but Track Steward Kim Edwards’ finger was getting a work out after the pole sitters kept jumping the starts.
The first casualty for the night was Jason Kendrick who clipped Nathan “CHOPS” Brady both rolling on to their sides. The next casualty was again Nathan Brady Climbing The Turn 3-4 catch fence and ripping both wings off before coming to a stop on the front straight. Bradley Maiolo and Ben Dickson also suffered rollovers, however Maiolo’s only falling over after tapping the wall on the start of the feature. The race took a while to get under way but when we did the racing was good until the precipitation was back and the feature was declared with nine laps to go. New South Welshmen Gary Brazier was declared the winner over Mark Wells And Sheldon Brady.
