Australia | Oct. 13, 2011 - The opening round of the R2C Pro Dirt series is this Saturday, October 15th at Ellenbrook speedway. This prestigious event is also the annual Ray Tulk Memorial race, which was won by Warren Oldfield last year. This Aussie Late Model season has been eagerly anticipated and after the long winter break and the drivers have now set their sights on the massive season ahead and their pursuit of the R2C Pro Dirt Series championship...

An impressive field of 23 cars have nominated for the event, all wanting to start their season with claiming the victory of the Ray Tulk Memorial race.  With such a big field of high quality drivers, including Craig Vosbergen, Brad Blake, Ryan Halliday, Ben Ludlow and the Oldfield brothers, you are guaranteed to see plenty of V8 late model action on the track.

Following the success of the winter development series there are a few new names in the late model ranks to shake things up a bit, including Nat Muir, Dale Clark, Mick Rawcliffe, Koran Atkinson and the development series winner David Nylander.

The Ray Tulk Memorial, will be hotly contested with these immaculately presented late models. And there are many names that could be holding the chequered flag at the end.
