Cottage Grove, OR | Oct. 8, 2011 - The Limited Sprint feature at the Western State Finals was an event that Justin Youngquist will remember for the rest of his life. The teenager from Burlington, WA led all twenty-five laps to earn his first victory at the Cottage Grove Speedway in his career in his first ever start in a Sprint Car at the facility. He would add the win to his additional four that he received at his home track the Skagit Speedway in Alger, WA for 2011...
Zack Spaulding of Springfield finished in second to close out the year and was good enough to earn him his first career Limited Sprint title. Mike Griffith of Fall Creek and Orion Redmond of Roseburg both had impressive runs finishing third and fourth while Mike Carrothers of Cottage Grove finished in fifth place. Fast timer of the evening was Spaulding and Raquel Ivie of Eugene won the trophy dash with heat races being won by Spaulding and Billy Workman Jr. of Vancouver, WA. FULL RESULTS
