TATNELL WILL BE HITTING THE GROUND RUNNING THIS SATURDAY NIGHT

Story by Jodie Krikke (KMS Media)
Bunbury, Australia | 25 November 2013 - Brooke Tatnell will fly into Australia on Friday evening and will be competing the following night at the Bunbury City Speedway to kick off Krikke MotorSport’s ‘Year of Redemption’ tour.

Early last week, Krikke MotorSport confirmed that Tatnell would be their hotrod pilot for the 2013/14 racing season and at the time it was thought that their first hit-out on the track back together as a team would be on December 7th, but as we all know, plans can change and now ‘BT’ will be here to have a shakedown run in the Toyota Parts & Accessories Cool car this Saturday night in the
Battery All Types-Southern Thunder Series-Round 2 at the QUIT Bunbury City Speedway.

“I’m looking forward to pulling on the KMS racesuit again. It’s kind of like an old pair of sneakers; it just feels so comfortable to be going back there” remarked Tatnell. “But you know, Bunbury hasn’t been a racetrack that has been kind to me over the years so I’m definitely looking to turn that all around this weekend and also being able to get to work with Dylan and Finchy, so it should be a great night. This weekend will be our first time as a team and we’re hoping that we’ll gel together and get this hotrod up the pointy end and give the racefans a great show to watch.”

The KMS team has been busy all off-season preparing their inventory and with that will be four Cool Chassis’, three Maxwill Motors and more spares than you can poke a stick at to fill their transporter and raceshop.

“We believe we have the best gear available to us’ said Shane Krikke, team owner of KMS ‘John Cooley has been busy prepping our chassis’, Pete Morris is our engine guru and he’s excited about our motor program. We’ve got BR Motorsport supplying all our components, PWR our radiators and The Shock Doctor has been right through our inventory and rebuilt all our shocks. Along with their support we’ve got extremely talented youngster and crew chief Dylan Buswell and Shane Finch who’ll oversee our campaign, so I’m confident that we have the best of the best out on the road this season. Put Brooke in the mix and I believe we’ve got a winning combination yet again.”

This Saturday night racefans can also visit the KMS transporter and pick up some bargain merchandise. Krikke MotorSport has found some past seasons merchandise at their raceshop and will have all items available for just $10each. It’ll be first in best dressed as sizes and stock is limited. All money raised from this sale will be donated to their ‘Racing For A Cure’ Relay For Life Cancer Council fundraiser. So you’d better get in quick!
