USMTS Modifieds, USRA Limited Mods Invade Royal Purple Raceway for 7th Annual Lecolift Texas Winter Nationals Nov. 14-16


BAYTOWN, TX | Nov. 4, 2013 - The biggest names in dirt modified racing are readying for a season-ending showdown as they converge on the Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 14-16, for the 7th Annual Lecolift Texas Winter Nationals presented by 4s Motorsports.

The season finale for the United States Modified Touring Series draws nearly 100 of the top names from at least a dozen states, with all of them converging on the state-of-the-art 3/8-mile high-banked clay oval looking for their share of more than $50,000 in prize money.

SOMERTON, AZ | Nov. 3, 2013 - All the miles, all the laps, all the strategy comes down to a single weekend as the stage is set for the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV American Real season finale on Friday, November 8 and Saturday, November 9 at the Cocopah Speedway in Somerton, Ariz. just outside Yuma.

Presented by the Cocopah Resort and Casino, A first day purse of $3,000 to win on Friday, will give way to a staggering $20,000 to win on Saturday night with a possible $5,000 bonus on the line for series points leader Jason Johnson.

El Paso, TX | Nov. 1, 2013 - During the 2nd attempt to start the Lucas Oil ASCS 360 National Tour 30 lap feature at El Paso Speedway Park last Friday, Travis Rilat, Josh Baughman and Johnny Herrera all ended up in the catch fence.  All were OK and Johnny Herrera (45X) was able to make repairs and finished 10th.  Christopher Bell won the feature.

Perris, CA | Nov. 3, 2013 - Dave Darland of Lincoln, Indiana made himself a three-time winner of the Budweiser “Oval Nationals” presented by All Coast Construction after a wire-to-wire win in Saturday’s $15,000-to-win 40-lapper. It didn’t come easily, though, as Darland’s nemesis over the last two seasons, Bryan Clauson, came on strong in the closing laps and pushed the 47-year old all the way to the line.
