Noblesville, IN | Dec. 3, 2013 - Fresh off one of the most successful years in USAC history Bryan Clauson and Bryan Clauson Racing are proud to announce the upstart of the Driven Driver Development Program.

“It has always been a goal of mine to build our program to the point that we could take our knowledge and help develop the next generation of racecar drivers. We have spent the past several years building our program and database up to a point that we feel we can offer young drivers the opportunity to learn and excel in an environment that gets the most out of their driving ability.

TULSA, OK | Dec. 3, 2013 - As grand an event may be, as smooth as the program may appear, it is all for not without proper communication. A simple miscue due to someone not able to hear an order, or the ability to relay that order can bring an event to a grinding halt.

In preparation for the 29th Speedway Motors Tulsa Shootout and 28th Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire, event managers and directors are pleased to announce Racing Electronics as the official two-way radio supplier for both crown jewel indoor events.

Adversity Fuels Championship Season at Roaring Knob

Connellsville, PA | Dec. 2, 2013 - Ken Herman knows about adversity, but he continually overcomes it to enjoy success on and off the speedway. From overcoming a major illness several years ago, to forging ahead with a two-person race team, Herman is now tasting success- a track championship.

The Connellsville, Pennsylvania driver claimed his first-ever track championship at Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex, this season, in the RUSH Late Model division. Roaring Knob, in Markleysburg, Pa., is among nine Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC RUSH weekly-sanctioned speedways.

Perth, Western Australia | Dec. 3, 2013 - The 52nd running of the Western Australian Sprintcar Championship at the Perth Motorplex on Saturday evening should be a exciting and hard fought affair.

A strong 28 field will contest the title tilt, including four interstate drivers.

Thomas Takes $20K in 13th Annual Turkey 100 at Swainsboro


Swainsboro, GA | Dec. 3, 2013 - Thanksgiving day drivers from all over the U.S. rolled into Swainsboro Raceway gearing up for the 3 day weekend full of racing action. Over 50 cars showed up Thursday night for open practice session to prep for Friday nights qualifying and heat events. Many drove through snow and ice storms coming from northern states.

Friday night, 61 Zaxby’s Crate Late Model cars lined the fields prepping for qualifying and heat races. All trying for a position in Saturday’s feature event but only 26 cars would compete for the $20,000 to win. After qualifying, William Thomas grabbed the GRW Racing Engines fastest qualifier award of $400. All 61 drivers then made adjustments to compete in the eight heat races that would lock in two drivers from each for the feature event. Winning the first heat race, William Thomas held the pole position and second heat race winner Michael Brown sat outside. Sixteen cars were locked into the feature event with forty-five returning Saturday to compete in four consolation races with only the top two from each race making the field.

Kingshott Scores First Win in Aussie Speedcar/Midget Pro Series


Adelaide, South Australia | Dec. 3, 2013 - Bunbury based Dayne Kingshott has snubbed his nose at the unfamiliar territory of Adelaide’s Speedway City to take out round four of the inaugural Speedcar Pro Series.

Kingshott’s car speed became obvious from the start of the night, claiming third quickest behind Revolution Racegear Quick Time winner, Mark Brown and South Australian surprise package, Jamie Crouch.

Rain on Saturday forced a 24-hour postponement of the meeting but did not stop five-time World of Outlaws sprintcar champion Schatz from putting on a driving master class, wining both heats and the feature.
