Jonsson Claims Croatian Speedway Grand Prix in Goričan - American Hancock Wins 2nd World Speedway Championship
Goričan, Croatia | Sept. 24, 2011 - Moments ago, Swedish rider Andreas Jonsson (Blue hat) used a fantastic start from the #2 gate to take the win in the Croatian Speedway Grand Prix Final. The only American rider on the tour, Greg Hancock finished fourth and claimed a stunning 2nd Speedway World Speedway Championship! British star Chris Harris finished 2nd with Swede Fredrik Lindgren finishing 3rd in the race.

Yakima, WA | Sept. 23, 2011 - For the 4th year in a row, Jason Solwold topped the opening night of the season-ending ASCS Northwest double header at Yakima’s State Fair Raceway. Solwold’s third series win of the year came in front of Jayme Barnes, with Roger Crockett, Trey Starks and Henry Van Dam rounding out the top five.

City of Industry, CA | Sept. 16, 2011 - Two time US National Champ and two time Cal State Champ, American speedway ace Bobby Schwartz was honored last Saturday for his long and successful career. Bobby raced in England for nine years, winning two gold medals (World Best Pairs Champion: 1981 w/Bruce Penhall & 1982 w/Dennis Sigalos), was the USA World Team Captain (1983-1987) and is still competitive today, racing several times a week in California! Kasey Kahne Racing swept the Top 3 spots in Friday's World of Outlaws Sprint A-Main at Eldora Speedway with Paul McMahon on the pole, Saldana outside in 2nd and Cody Darrah tucked into 3rd. Saldana took the lead at the end of the first lap and cruised to his second victory in as many races since returning from a nine week injury lay off.
