Camarillo Cranks Out Another Win in Ventura Non-Wing Sprints

Ventura, CA | Sept. 24, 2011 - Brian Camarillo got back into victory lane Saturday night winning the 30 lap VRA 360 Sprint Car Main Event. He took the lead on lap 11 and led the rest of the way to take the win. The race had four leaders in the 30 laps. Cody Kershaw led lap 1-4, Greg Taylor led lap5-6, Markus Niemela led lap 7-10 before Camarillo took the lead for good on lap 11.

Mees led the 25-lap National race wire-to-wire to win over Harley-Davidson Motor Company rider Kenny Coolbeth.

Dan Douville of Bridgewater, New Hampshire emerged as the 2011 SCoNE Series Champion, Chris Donnelly of Piermont, NH claimed the Bear Ridge Track Championship and Tyler Rich of Lyme, NH scored his first career Sprint Car Feature Win.

While the former champ picked off the win, Roger Crockett claimed his second ASCS Northwest championship by crossing the stripe third behind Barnes and Friday night winner Jason Solwold.

Costa Mesa, CA | Sept. 24, 2011 - Reigning US National Solo Champ, Billy Janniro was perfect on the night, never dropping a point on his way to winning the Solo Scratch Main Event at Costa Mesa Speedway Saturday night, but Jimmy "Little Animal" Fishback stole the show with his grit and determination. Fishback crashed on the opening lap of the A-Main and dislocated his shoulder. After gathering his wits from the pain, Jimmy laid across the outside wall, had a friend pop it back in and continued in the event, narrowly missing a victory at the checkers!
