Pierson capped his title-winning season in the Bond Auto Parts DIRTcar Sportsman Modified division by winning the 50-lap season finale and pocketing the $1,000 winner’s purse.

Ventura, CA | Sept. 24, 2011 - Brian Camarillo got back into victory lane Saturday night winning the 30 lap VRA 360 Sprint Car Main Event. He took the lead on lap 11 and led the rest of the way to take the win. The race had four leaders in the 30 laps. Cody Kershaw led lap 1-4, Greg Taylor led lap5-6, Markus Niemela led lap 7-10 before Camarillo took the lead for good on lap 11.

Fishback crashed on the opening lap of the A-Main and dislocated his shoulder. Kristan's father Joe competed against the late Filskov for several years, and Brian himself was at Hartford Speedway on the fateful day back in October of 1996 when Filskov lost his life. Hartford, MI | Sept. 21, 2011 - "I was ready.", Joey Saldana made a statement as he returned to the seat of his #9 Red Bull Maxim and won the Outlaws stop at Hartford Speedway. Many people told him it was too soon. His family and friends cautioned him against it. Joey Saldana, though, knew Wednesday night at Hartford Motor Speedway he was ready to return to World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series action.

These daredevil gymnasts perform an amazing display of moves in counterbalancing the speeding bikes through the turns. Cottage Grove, OR | Sept. 20, 2011 – Entering this season, Logan Forler had three victories in his first two years in a sprint car.
The 18-year-old has nearly doubled that this season by recording five wins in three states. More importantly, he’s picked up a trio of trophies in a 13-day stretch this month.
“It seems like we’re really consistent right now and what we’re doing is working,” he said. “I’ve been driving a lot smarter than I ever have been. I just think about what I’m doing a bit more.”
It’s paid off recently as Forler earned his third consecutive victory and his first career ASCS win last Friday at Willamette Speedway in Lebanon, Ore. – site of an ASCS Northwest Region event.
“The car was just really good, but we almost didn’t win it,” Forler said. “A lapped car hit us and I almost flipped over. I don’t know how I kept it going.”...
