by Petersen Media
Fayetteville, PA | Nov. 14, 2013 - Lance Dewease is pleased to announce that he has come to terms with Scott and Chris Dietz to pilot their C.C. Dietz Builders/Hess Ornamental Iron No. 14 machine in Pennsylvania in the 2014 season.
“I am very excited and thankful for the opportunity to drive for the Dietz’s,” Dewease said. “2013 was a rough year performance wise, and I am hoping we can put together a great year together.”
The Dietz car has been prevalent in the Pennsylvania area for the last few years, and the most recent drivers they’ve had have been Gerard McIntyre, Brian Leppo, and Kevin Nouse, and they are looking forward to teaming up with Dewease.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have Lance Dewease drive our car,” Scott Dietz said. “He has so much knowledge, and so much talent, we could not be any more thrilled to see what the 2014 season has to offer.”
Aside from C.C. Dietz Builders and Hess Ornamental Iron backing this machine, longtime Dewease supporter, Donny Owens, and his company, Conduit Connections will continue to support the Fayetteville, PA driver.
Dewease also has a host of longtime product sponsors that will follow him on this new endeavor.
“I am very fortunate to have some great people behind me, and support me year after year,” Dewease said. “We are all looking forward to this opportunity, and hope we can put together a successful season.”
While other things are still being worked out, Lance will again utilize Rider Racing Engines under the hood of this machine.
With the arrangement being so fresh, the team doesn’t quite have an exact plan schedule wise, but are hoping they can attract a few more sponsors to create a very tough schedule.
