Little Rock, AR | Oct. 25, 2013 - Though he is busy preparing for his preliminary night at the Short Track Nationals in Little Rock, AR, Shane Stewart is excited to announce that he will pilot the Hill’s Racing No. 77 machine at the upcoming World Finals in Charlotte, North Carolina.
“I’m excited to get back out to Charlotte, and take on the World of Outlaws again,” Stewart said. “Miles Hill and his entire team have a first class operation, I'm excited, and thankful, for the opportunity to compete.”
Based out of Ontario, Canada, the Hill’s Racing team competes weekly at the Ohsweken Speedway often with multiple cars. Aside from Ohsweken the team competes at various tracks throughout Ontario, and the surrounding US States.
Aside from winged sprint cars, the Hill’s Racing team enjoys racing inside the family, as Miles’s daughter, Alex, moved into the seat of a 600 Micro Sprint this season.
Though dominantly a 360ci team, the Hill’s Racing team has in fact been at the World Finals the last five years, and are hopeful they can put together a strong run with Stewart behind the wheel, as he closes out what has been a very strong 2013 campaign.
Including Australia, Stewart as pocketed 14 wins, including his fifth Knoxville 360 Nationals win, as well as his third Canadian Nationals wins, at the Hill’s Racing home track, the Ohsweken Speedway.
Assembling a new car for the race, the Hill’s Racing team thanks Gaerte Engines, XYZ Machining, Cool Chassis, Townline Variety, Bear Paw Convenience, and Iroquois Hereford Farms for their support.
