The veteran restarts strong to claim victory at UNOH DIRTcar Nationals Presented by Summit
BARBERVILLE, Fla. | Feb. 16, 2012 - Craig Dollansky had a bittersweet taste in returning to Volusia Speedway Park.

In front of a packed crowd on Thursday at the UNOH DIRTcar Nationals Presented by Summit Racing Equipment, Dollansky wowed the spectators and put the lessons to use by claiming the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions 30-lap feature...

story by Lonnie Wheatley
Tulsa, OK | January 14, 2012 – It took a quarter of a century to crown the first back-to-back winner in Chili Bowl Nationals history.
After crowning that champion last January, it only took one more year for a three-peat champion as 22-year-old Kevin Swindell of Germantown, TN, captured his third Golden Driller in a row by wiring the field in Saturday night’s 26th Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals championship finale at the QuikTrip Center’s Tulsa Expo Raceway...

Ahhh, the Chili Bowl.
I spent the past five days at the Quiktrip Center’s Tulsa Expo Raceway in Tulsa, Okla., for the 26th annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals – the biggest midget race each year. A total of 259 drivers from 32 states as well as Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Finland competed, including some of motor sports’ biggest stars at various levels.
It was my first time at the “Knoxville Nationals” of midget racing and it likely won’t be my last. What a unique event. From the tradeshow to the on-track battles – and everything in between at the Tulsa State Fairgrounds – it was truly an event rather than a race....

Donnie's Interview with Tulsa News 6 Sports Anchor Dave Davis Before Chili Bowl 2012
Tulsa, Oklahoma | Jan. 14, 2012 - Third generation driver Donnie Ray Crawford was introduced to the sport of racing at a very young age. He was a mere two days old when he attended his first sprint car race in which his father, multiple time champion Donnie Crawford, was competing. Early on, Donnie Ray would experience what his life might be like in the years to come. That exciting and exemplary 24 year life ended today.
I did not know Donnie or his family, but I still cried when I heard the bad news. I knew of his shining reputation. Longtime and respected members of the Tulsa community, the Crawfords had been spending this week participating in the Chili Bowl midget races at Tulsa's Quick Trip Expo Center. That's where they were headed Saturday morning for the final races of the five day event when the Wagoner County Sheriff says a fight broke out between two family members....
