Mesquite, Texas | Oct. 23, 2011 – He smelled the rubber and he felt it coming, but Danny Lasoski stuck to his plan. “I had to save the tires until the last 10 laps,” he said. “I never pushed the throttle all the way open in the first 20 laps.”  Lasoski maintained a close second and capitalized when leader Sam Hafertepe Jr. slid up the track on the 16th lap of the 30-lap feature last Saturday at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas.
