Auckland, NZ | Oct. 28, 2011 - Little Jesse Bessant's parents are holding on to the unusual hope that his brain problems may be caused by an infection rather than cancer. At 22 months of age, Jesse Noah Bessant is a stockcar mad speedway fan who loves anything to do with cars, and his parents wish is that he will grow up to will follow in his Dad’s footsteps and race a Stockcar. But seven weeks ago Jesse was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour. After the diagnosis, his parents (Michelle and Shane Bessant) were told that because of the position of the tumour in Jesse’s brain stem, all they could do was buy Jesse some time. However, the biopsy results have shown something different, a medical mystery...

Seaford, Delaware | Oct. 22, 2011 - The final weekend of racing for the 2011 season at Middleford Speedway was a great one! The action was non-stop for two evenings. Friday night saw 23 270cc Micro teams come for the race and a whopping 43 600cc Micro teams for the big 600 Pro Series finale. Saturday the 270cc Micro’s increased their number to 28 while there were 38 600cc Micro’s at the track to battle it out for the 2011 Micro Nationals Winner title.
